| Hey Yall. I am shipping the Z out soon to an undisclosed location for a repair, overhaul, and a slew of new parts. Since this will be my first inter-state shipment I have some questions about getting the car ready. First - How high should I adjust the coilovers for riding off and on multiple trailers throughout the ride? Set them as high as safely possible? Second - Should I send all my parts with the car inside of it stacked in the passenger seat and trunk or should I ship them separately freight style? Have you had any parts turn up missing or stolen when shipping them in the car? Last - Are there any pointers you could give me that you wish someone would have told you the first time or maybe that you realized after the fact would have been beneficial during the process? Please share. I called, they do carry insurance on the load, but do I need to have them increase it in case they only cover book value or something? FYI - The shipper is going over a thousand miles one way for $650! Then back for another $650! Pretty cheap for a round trip. Put the ad on [ www.uship.com ] and then negotiated another $200 off the price with the lowest bidder. Thanks in advance!
